Longed-For Hunger

I now have the cover for my third Ra’s Chosen book, Longed-For Hunger. This one will be out at Ellora’s Cave on August 20th. So exactly one month away. I’m writing book four right now that I’ve called Embrace the Hunger and is Akori’s book. The blurb for Longed-For Hunger is below.

Blurb

Denger is a hunter, spending his nights on the streets of Phoenix fighting the undead who threaten unknowing humans around them. It’s in his blood. It’s what he knows. But a new knowledge has taken hold. Like other warriors before him, he must hunt for a different kind of prey altogether. His mate. Once he finds her, nothing will keep him from claiming what is his. Nothing but her, that is.

After the death of her husband three years ago, Nyx is content to spend her evenings at home, wrapped up in the vampire romance novels she loves. But when she collides, literally, with a man who could have stepped out of the pages of her books, she begins to think that living her love life through books may not be the way to go. But as with any good story, there’s a plot twist. Once she discovers Denger’s true nature, she must decide if she can risk her heart and live a life where truth is stranger than fiction.

Forever Claimed Now Out

Forever Claimed

I knew there was something I forgot to do yesterday :) . The second book in my Wolves of East Anglia series, Forever Claimed, was released yesterday at Noble Romance Publishing. You can find it on their website HERE. The blurb is below. They also have a different excerpt from what I have posted on my own website.

Blurb

Out for a walk on her fist evening of her holiday in Norwich, England, Kamryn finds herself literally knocked on her butt by a gorgeous hunk of a man named Algar. He is quick to apologize when he helps her to her feet, and holds her hand a little longer than necessary, but he still reluctantly rushes after the man who he had been chasing. Kamryn returns to her hotel, sure she won’t see him again.

Algar quickly takes down the werewolf sired by Fenris the wolf, in the hopes of finding the woman he’d knocked over before she disappears. After following her scent, only to come to a dead end at the hotel’s elevator, he plans to return in the morning to wait for her to put in an appearance. When she does, he finds she stirs his wolf as much as she stirs his body.

Certain she is the woman meant for him, meant to be forever claimed by an immortal werewolf warrior, he knows he can’t let her go, even if she comes to fear what he is.

More Good News

And some more good news today. The third book in my Ra’s Chosen series, Longed-For Hunger, now has a release date. It’ll be out on August 20th. I don’t have a cover for it yet, but I’ll post it here once I do. I’ve posted the excerpt for it on my Excerpts page on my website HERE. I’ll post the blurb below. Tomorrow I’m starting to write the fourth Ra’s Chosen book. I can’t wait to get started. This one will be Akori’s story.

Another Contract

Posted by Marisa Chenery     Category: Coming Soon, General

Today I received another contract offer from Liquid Silver Books. This one is for the third Roxie’s Protectors book, Leif’s Surrender. Here’s an unedited blurb, and as always, I’m not too thrilled with it. But it will at least give you a taste of what the book is about.

Blurb

Leif had always sworn he would never allow himself to become mated, but when he meets her at a grocery story buying pregnant Roxie ice cream, he finds his world turned upside down. Fighting his mating urge, he finds himself drawn to his would-be mate. If he can only resist her, he hopes he can hold out long enough to let it run its course without claiming her as his. The cashier that rings through Leif’s purchase, Jaden of course noticed him in her line. He is so good looking, she knows with her plain looks and the glasses she wears, he’d never notice her. But when he returns to the grocery store the next day and kisses her senseless in front of the whole store, she can only hope she’ll see him again.

New Contract

I signed a new contract today with Liquid Silver Books. It’s for the historical I had published with New Concepts called A Tournament Knight. I had orginially submitted this to LSB back in late 2006. Tina Burns, who is now publisher, loved it but couldn’t offer me a contract because LSB didn’t have their Sterling line then, their sweeter romances. She always called A Tournament Knight the one that got away. I subbed it on Monday and just from reading it three years before, Tina jumped on it and had a contract offer sent my way. That is the fastest one I’ve ever gotten. It only took about a half hour. I’m really thrilled that A Tournament Knight has a new home, and that Tina loved it so much that she offered me a contract so quickly.

Jager’s Mate Was Released

Jager's Mate

The second book in my Roxie’s Protectors series, Jager’s Mate, was released today at Liquid Silver Books. This is Jager’s story, if you haven’t already guessed. I’ve written the third book, Leif’s Surrender, and it’s subbed to LSB. I’m just waiting to hear back about it. I had fun with that one.

You can find Jager’s Mate on LSB’s web site here:

http://www.liquidsilverbooks.com/books/jagersmate.htm

Blurb:

Daylen is a cop, and a good one. When she discovers two men sword fighting in an alley during one of her nightly patrols, she confronts them, ordering them to put down their weapons. One of the men takes off running, surprising her with his speed. With one man left, she knows she’ll have to take him down when he ignores her demands. With her suspect in her grasp, her world turns upside down when he pins her to the ground and kisses her senseless.

Jager knows no wilting flower, werewolf or mortal, would ever survive as his mate, but this cop has all the right moves. Her scent leaves no doubt this mortal woman is his, and after tasting her lips, he knows claiming her will be a challenge. The bigger problem, however, might be her obsession to arrest him whenever they meet. As their passion flares, he’ll do anything it takes to make her his mate.

Forever Claimed

I recieved my cover for the second book in my Wolves of East Anglia series, Forever Claimed. This one will be released at Noble Romance Publishing on July 19th. The cover artist did a great job, and even managed to give the hero the tattoo all the warriors have. I’m thinking of starting to write the third book in the next week or so. I’ll post the blurb below. I’m not thrilled with it, but once I go through edits, which should be very soon, it may change.
