New Releases

The second book in my vampire Ra’s Chosen series, Mate Hunger, was released today at Ellora’s Cave. I actually finished the edits for the third book, Longed-For Hunger, yesterday. So hopefully that one will be out soon as well.
You can find Mate Hunger here http://www.jasminejade.com/p-8390-mate-hunger.aspx
Blurb:
Set is a warrior chosen by the sun god Ra to protect mortals from the undead who hunt them. That is what he knows. Unfortunately, having watched his leader, a fellow warrior, succumb to a destined mate, Set also knows he will someday suffer the same fate. Set doesn’t need nor want a mate. He’s just fine on his own, thank you very much. But when a spitfire of a woman is thrust into his life, whose sole mission seems to be to knee him in the groin and escape every chance she gets, he’s intrigued. A lot.
Desiree may have lusted after Set from afar for months, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to go willingly with the behemoth of a man spouting a whole bunch of garbage about immortality, an ancient Egyptian god and her destiny as his mate. No doubt he’s two bricks short of a load. But when they touch, passion like she’s never known consumes her. Perhaps he’s not so crazy after all…

Today I signed my seventh contract with Ellora’s Cave. It’s for the third book in my vampire Ra’s Chosen series called Longed-for Hunger. This one is Denger’s story. Book one, Soul Hunger, is now out and going by the reader reviews on EC’s website, along with the one glowing review from Night Owl Reviews it has received, I have a feeling it’s selling really well. It makes me happy to see readers enjoyoing my books. The second Ra’s Chosen book, Mate Hunger, is going to be out in a few weeks on June 30th. Hopefully it will be as well received as the first book was.

The Wolf in the Woods, my Canada Day story, was released today at Liquid Silver Books. It’s my version of Little Red Riding Hood set in Algonquin Park in Ontario, Canada. I live about 4 hours or so away from the park, but I’ve never been there. The hero is a werewolf and I’ve written him how I write the werewolves in my Wulf’s Den and Roxie’s Protectors series. You can find The Wolf in the Woods at Liquid Silver’s website at the link below.

Blurb:
Lost in the woods when on a Canada Day camping trip with her grandmother at Algonquin Park, Red finds herself chased by a large male wolf. Shocked when the wolf shape-shifts into a gorgeous man, she is unable to tell him no when he takes her into his arms and kisses her senseless.
Rutgar knew Red was his mate from the first whiff of her scent. Out on his daily evening run through the woods in his wolf form, he can’t resist the pull she has over him. The mating urge rides him to claim her as his mate.
Not pleased to find herself bound to Rutgar without her consent, Red soon learns another werewolf forms a greater danger than an unexpected mating ever could.

Just a quick note to say I got the email last night telling me I placed in the 2010 Lories Best Published Contest. I had entered Roxie’s Protectors-Roan’s Fall in the novella category and I took 3rd place. It’s the first RWA contest I finalled in. I’m really thrilled about it.

The second book in my Roxie’s Protectors series, Jager’s Mate, is going to be released at Liquid Silver Books on July 5th. That will be the first of two releases I’ll have for July. With this one coming out soon, next week I’m going to start writing the third book in this series. It’s going to be called Leif’s Surrender. I’ll post the blurb for Jager’s Mate below.
Blurb:
Daylen is a cop, and a good one. When she discovers two men sword fighting in an alley during one of her nightly patrols, she confronts them, ordering them to put down their weapons. One of the men takes off running, surprising her with his speed. With one man left, she knows she’ll have to take him down when he ignores her demands. With her suspect in her grasp, her world turns upside down when he pins her to the ground and kisses her senseless.
Jager knows no wilting flower, werewolf or mortal, would ever survive as his mate, but this cop has all the right moves. Her scent leaves no doubt this mortal woman is his, and after tasting her lips, he knows claiming her will be a challenge. The bigger problem, however, might be her obsession to arrest him whenever they meet. As their passion flares, he’ll do anything it takes to make her his mate.
